Equine Remote or temporary stabling

The arrangements for the establishment of a secure facility at a remote or temporary stabling will be determined by the duration away from the home stables, the number of horses and riders as well as the location and its facilities.

Should there be a requirement for a more protracted stay, then security measures similar to those necessary at home will be recommended to restrict access to and the interactions with the horses to known and approved individuals only. Close monitoring of such interactions can be established with logs of individuals and traffic both from outside and inside individual stables using CCTV systems and individual recording channels.

On-site security personnel could then be directed to any potential threat or incursion within the protected area to ensure a continued visible deterrent and to intervene as appropriate.
